Holiday gathering doesn't dissapoint - dancing bears next?

For those of you who didn't get a chance to attend the Lavapalooza Holiday Extravaganza last Tuesday, December 5, you missed a great gathering. Each year this Holiday event grows in number and this year was not exception. The best part this year was that we had artists from every realm, including visual (thanks to Orlando Visual Artist League president Jim Lussier deciding to partner with the Performing Arts Alliance), performing, administrator and patron. I happen to get hit with the flu that day, so I was not feeling up to partying snuff, but for those who closed the party, all said the energy kept going deep into the night. No agenda but to enjoy each other's company socially. It was good to have so many artists in one setting. Next year this needs to get even bigger with a theme, fireworks, some dancing bears and Mark Baratelli filming it as a holiday documentary. I am traveling to the wintery north to visit with extended family in Indiana. My 3-year-old Dylan is hoping for snow, so we can sled like they do on Barney. I am hoping for some good cooking and a little rest. Have a happy holiday with wherever and whatever you celebrate.
